SCENE 1 At the Fix-it Shop, Jason watches Maria attempt to fix a clock. He offers to help, but she doesn’t think he could help her fix the clock. While she concentrates, he answers the phone and reads the hours of the shop from a sign on the cash register. David enters needing a pencil, and Bob enters to pick up his fixed metronome; Jason assists them both. As Jason is about to leave, Maria accidentally lets go of the spring on the clock, and needs Jason’s help.
Animation Teeny Little Super Guy notices his friend Alice wanting to join a baseball game. He gives her the idea to go over there and ask them if she can play.

Muppets Ernie & BertErnie is sad, because it's raining and he can't play baseball. Bert encourages him to imagine that he's playing instead. In Ernie's imagination, he hits a high fly ball that lands in the ocean. Bert tells Ernie that the sun is out, and he can go out and play now. Ernie says that he can't play -- his ball fell in the ocean.
