Big Bird suggests she instead say goodbye and announce the sponsors as they normally do, which she hesitantly does (finding it a bit plain). Gladys bemoans the fact that the viewers will miss out on what she prepared after her 9 poem. When Big Bird asks what it was, glitzy letters A and D descend from above, balloons and streamers come from nowhere, a juggling tumbler appears to do tricks, and Gladys sings a short tune about the sponsors amid Big Bird, Maria, Mr. Macintosh, and the kids cheering and applauding. "Not bad for a cow!" Big Bird exclaims. |
