SCENE 2 Luis sees the mess left behind in Big Bird's nest, and he decides to clean it up himself to show Big Bird he cares. Luis comes across a jumble of glued construction paper and other supplies. He thinks this is trash, so he crumples it and throws it in the trashcan. Big Bird arrives and chides Luis for throwing away the item, which turns out to be a project he's been working on. Luis apologizes and explains he was only trying to be nice. However, Big Bird still wants to yell and stomp his feet, which Luis interprets as feeling angry because he touched something that wasn't his. Luis gives Big Bird back his project and asks what it's for. Big Bird reveals that it was Luis's present before storming off.

SCENE 3 Big Bird has calmed down and decides to give Luis his present to show he's not angry anymore. He concludes that he should be "big" about it ("After all, they don't call me Big Bird for nothing."). Big Bird enters the Fix-It Shop and, through the shop window, we see him handing the present to Luis. The two shake hands over the counter, and then, Luis walks around the counter to give Big Bird a hug.
