SCENE 1 | While planning to clean out his nest, Big Bird realizes he needs to return some books to the library, so he and Snuffy walk on over before it closes. Upon arrival, they see that they're quite busy today. Linda tells her assistant Teresa (Annabelle Gurwitch) that it's okay if they help them out, so Big Bird and Snuffy arrange to stick around. "Gee, how do you like that - I started out cleaning my nest, and the next thing you know, we're assistant librarians!" Big Bird states. |

SCENE 2 | Linda and Teresa give Big Bird and Snuffy a little test to see how well they can help out in the library: they have to sort four books. They begin singing "Three of These Things" loudly until they're shushed and reminded of where they are. They begin singing again quietly and pick the book with the fish on it as different from the others with houses on the cover. After Teresa confirms they're correct, they celebrate loudly, prompting others to throw their arms up in anger. One kid slams his book shut and leaves in a huff. |

SCENE 3 | Teresa and Linda read the story of "Snuffle-Punzel," written by Snuffy. He and Big Bird act it out for the kids. In the story, Snuffle-Punzel (Snuffy) must stay in a tower until he learns how to listen to others. When a little friend (Big Bird) finds him, the friend wants to tell Snuffle-Punzel of a way they can play together. After letting down his toys from the tower, Snuffle-Punzel finally decides to listen and starts to lift the friend up with his snuffle. The story comes to an abrupt end as Snuffy realizes he didn't finish the story. He finds a happy way to end it: since he already let down his toys, Snuffle-Punzel just lets down the tower by knocking over the cardboard set piece. |
