SCENE 1 | Big Bird asks the viewer not to touch that dial and hums a game show fanfare as he announces that it's time for... Birdketeer addition! Since his regular Birdketeers are busy, he has asked (or rather, begged) Gordon and Bob to stand in. The men are visibly antsy in their undersized costumes, and ask Big Bird to hurry it along. After he adds 1 Birdketeer (himself) to 2 Birdketeers resulting in 3 Birdketeers, Gordon and Bob impatiently try to excuse themselves from the scenario. Big Bird protests, but the gentlemen use it as an example of Birdketeer subtraction. Big Bird posits that they weren't all too crazy about being Birdketeers. |
