The Martians appear and observe the device, concluding it's a computer. They press a few keys, activating the printer. As they go off and hide, Big Bird enters. Maria thinks he started the printer, but he insists he didn't. She lets him watch over the store while she returns to the back, asking him to not touch anything. He feels insulted with her lack of trust and goes back to talk with her.

He enters and thinks the strange, glowing egg is an apology gift from Maria. She then comes in to apologize and states she has no idea where it came from. They see the spaceship fly off and he deduces it belongs to the Martians, who also caused trouble in the Fix-It Shop. Maria thinks it's silly, until the egg disappears before their eyes.
