SCENE 1 Big Bird is exercising in the arbor when he tells the audience, "Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be real strong, like Wonder Woman or Herry Monster." He then imagines himself as Super Bird with a deep superhero voice and wearing a cape, gloves, and chest emblem. He carries a pile of bricks to Olivia, karate-chops some boards for her shelves, and opens a peanut butter jar for David. Back in reality, a kid asks Big Bird for his help opening a jar. Big Bird is surprised to think he can help, but he removes the lid with ease. "Maybe I'm not Super Bird, but I'm a lot stronger than I thought I was!"
