SCENE 1 Oscar introduces the Grouchketeers, who provide the audience for "This Is Your Trash," a show that gives people a chance to revisit things they threw away. Today's unsuspecting participants are Harold and Maybelle Sweet from Sunnygrove, Montana. The upbeat couple suddenly turns sour on each other when Oscar pulls Harold's favorite sneakers (which she threw away) and Maybelle's vase (which he broke) from their trash. “Trash always brings out the best in people,” says Oscar.
