SCENE 1 Maria and Oscar are sitting by the stoop, observing Slimey and his little toothbrush. Maria finds it cute until she realizes that Slimey doesn't have any teeth, and asks Oscar why he has a toothbrush and a cup of water- to which Oscar explains that Slimey is going to brush his teeth. Maria almost rebuts that Oscar doesn't have any teeth either, but Oscar leaves and pops back up with a set of false teeth.

SCENE 2 Big Bird is setting up a sign outside his nest reading "CAFE BIRD." Maria strolls by and Big Bird offers her to dine at his make-believe restaurant, complete with a table and fancy silverware. Maria initially declines, having to run some delivery errands for the Fix-It Shop, but is talked into taking a tour of the restaurant- offering seating indoors (at his nest) and outdoors (on the street.) Maria finally sits down and asks Big Bird about the food- to which Big Bird completely forgot about (noting they haven't really opened yet and the cook must be late) and sends Maria back on her way.
Animation Stop-motion: a bunny tries to make a bench with blocks, but needs a chick's help.

SCENE 3 Maria returns to Cafe Bird, which is finally open for business. She sits down and is handed a menu- which only lists a tuna fish sandwich. He hands her the meal, and hears David calling him outside. He says he'd like to play along with this restaurant game and sits down to eat. He orders the tuna fish sandwich (naturally), and Big Bird hesitantly takes Maria's plate and gives it to him. Maria asks about her sandwich, to which he goes back and takes the sandwich from David and gives it back to Maria- but right before he sets it down on the table he takes it back to David upon his call. Maria decides this is enough and asks Big Bird what is going on, to which he confesses he only had one tuna fish. Maria and David decide to share it, but just when all seems well, Luis comes along and orders a tuna fish sandwich.
