SCENE 1 Big Bird and Mr. Snuffleupagus are preparing for their big adventure in Big Bird's nest. Snuffy is wearing a back pack and brought his bathing trunks in case they go swimming, a telescope in case they climb a mountain and want to look down below, and a horn in case they come across a lion and want to let him know that they're there. All they need now is some adventure music, so they begin humming an improvised tune.

Muppets Director Kermit is making a western film with Forgetful Jones as the star. Forgetful Jones is supposed to enter through the saloon doors and shout, "Everybody, freeze!" Of course, he forgets this, and instead enters under, around, and over the door. He gets the line right for the first three takes, but when he finally goes through the door: "Everybody ... frolic!"

SCENE 2 Big Bird and Snuffy set out on their adventure, but they keep finding mundane items like a ball and a fallen leaf. Big Bird describes something he's spotted which Snuffy guess might be a two-headed, four-legged, wheelie Honker. But it's just Gina and Uncle Wally riding a tandem bicycle.

SCENE 4 Big Bird and Snuffy find that across the street isn't very interesting for adventure after all. 124 Sesame Street doesn't look like it's even occupied. They decide to return to their side of the street, but they need to wait for a grown-up friend to come along. They use the telescope to spot Maria sweeping in the yard and then honk the horn and wave Snuffy's swim trunks around to get her attention. Deciding that excitement was enough for their adventure, they cross the street to get some lunch.
