- Scene 3 is a recreation of a performance from Pete Seeger's first appearance on Sesame Street.
- During scene 3 Oscar refers to Pete Seeger as "Mr. Cigar," a play on his name. He previously referred to him accidentally as "Pete Cigar" in Episode 0108, while Big Bird had called him Mr. Cigar in Episode 0203.
