SCENE 1 | Sitting at Hooper's Store doing her homework, Gina welcomes the viewer and notes that she needs a job so she can earn some money to buy her mom a birthday present. While she puts her headphones on to listen to some music as she works, David comments to himself that he could use some extra help around the store. He almost tells Gina his problem when he's interrupted by both a phone order and some overcooked soup. David reminds himself of all the other tasks he must do, but first makes a "HELP WANTED" sign and puts it in the store window. |

David's assumption that Oscar is going to turn the pan upside-down results in a tug-of-war argument between them, topped off with a big SPLAT! onto David's shirt. The Grouches flee. |
