SCENE 1 | At night, Sonny Friendly appears in Bob's apartment to play the "Name That Sound in the Middle of the Night" game. Bob declines, until he learns the prize is a trip around the world on a jet plane. Bob guesses the sounds of a train, a dog barking, and someone snoring correctly, but then hears a jet plane taking off. The plane happens to be his plane and it leaves without him. Bob instead gets an alarm clock as a consolation prize and Sonny leaves. Bob returns to sleep when the clock wakes him up; he interprets what just happened as an incredible dream. | |
