SCENE 1 Maria and the kids search for Barkley, who doesn't want to take his bath. They find him hiding behind some crates in the yard and Maria tries to lure him out with a dog biscuit. It almost works, but when she reaches for the hose, Barkley grabs the treat and sprints off again.

SCENE 2 Oscar has given Barkley shelter in his trash can, where only the tip of his tail can be seen wagging from the top. Oscar stuffs it down when Maria shows up looking for him, and Oscar feigns ignorance to the dog's whereabouts. She sees a bit of his tail sticking out and when she hears him barking, she demands Barkley come out right now. Oscar instructs Barkley to head for the swimming pool, and Maria ends up with a faceful of water. She's not upset, though - thanks to Oscar, Barkley finally got his bath!
