SCENE 1 Big Bird has just finished writing a play and needs some actors to perform it. Meryl Sheep suddenly appears beside him and angles for a part. The play is about Little Bo Peep and her sheep, so Big Bird thinks she'll be be perfect as one of the sheep. Meryl, however, sees little merit in the role, as the only dialogue is going "baaa." She manages to convince Big Bird she should play the role of Bo Peep instead (ensuring she gets more lines).

Meryl icily agrees.

Muppets Bob reads the story of a king and his three sons, to whom he bestows three, special gifts - a basket that is never emptied of food, a bird that knows all in the land and a horse that can travel anywhere. They each take a separate gift and travel the land, trying to help people. But, when they reunite, they find their separate gifts can't help them completely and realize that by cooperating, they'll know who needs food and a way to get there.

SCENE 4 A small audience gathers for the premiere of Big Bird's play "Little Bo Peep Has Lost Her Sheep." Meryl dramatically hams it up and by act two, she starts adding more and more of her own dialogue. Just as she declares she's going on an epic quest to find her sheep, a frustrated Big Bird sends them all back onstage to cut off Meryl's ad-libbed monologue. As the crowd applauds, Snuffy asks that for the next performance, he gets to play Bo Peep.
