SCENE 1 Today, Gina gets her first opportunity to write the menu board at Hooper's Store. Placido Flamingo stops by and the menu reminds him of one he once sang in his opera, "The Waiter of Seville." He sings a selection from the opera (to the tune of "The Blue Danube"), listing all the items on the menu. Placido then decides not to order any food, but wants the menu to take home and sing to his mother.
