SCENE 1 | Big Bird excitedly welcomes the viewer. He looks inside his mailbox, hoping to receive a postcard from Maria and Luis (who have just left for their honeymoon in the Adirondack Mountains) and is upset when he finds nothing. Gina explains that they haven't had time to write, because they only left yesterday. She gets a dreamy look in her eyes when she pictures what a wonderful time they must be having...

Meanwhile, Maria and Luis are stranded 20 miles from their campsite, because Oscar's Sloppy Jalopy has broken down. Luckily, some tourists - Ingrid and Duane, newlyweds themselves - are headed the same way and are more than happy to give Maria and Luis (and their stuff) a lift over to the campsite, which happens to be right next to theirs. The chatty Ingrid is excited about having so much fun with her new friends. The only question is, will Maria and Luis ever get some time alone to themselves?
