Meryl assigns everyone roles - Luis reads the story, Elmo and the kids play the laughing little kids and Oscar plays the teacher. This leaves only the two title roles. Maria assumes she will play Mary, until Meryl confirms that she is playing Mary and Maria will be the little lamb.
