SCENE 1 Elmo has Gordon read him a letter he received today. The letter tells Elmo that a friend will be visiting him at Hooper's Store at 4 o'clock. Before Gordon can finish, Elmo states it's from his friend Jamie Lee. He knows this because his daddy read it to him earlier. Gordon asks why he's reading it again now and Elmo replies that he loves hearing it and asks Gordon to read it again.

SCENE 2 At 3:30, Elmo checks the time on a clock on Maria's workbench. He runs to and from Hooper's, checking the time and hoping he won't miss Jamie Lee when they arrive. Maria has a better idea - put the clock at Hooper's so Elmo won't have to run back and forth. Elmo eventually moves it back, finding the running to be much fun.

They turn out to be an old man's "cane", a "chain" (to which Frazzle is attached), and finally a "train" which destroys the set.

SCENE 6 Jamie Lee finishes a piggy back ride Elmo and says it's time to say...but, before she can finish, Elmo mopes. He assumes she's saying "Goodbye" and will miss her. She assures Elmo that they'll still write to each other, talk on the phone and meet up again soon. But, she points out that what she was going to say was, "Tag! You're it!" The two engage in another game of tag, where Jamie Lee appears in Oscar's trash can. The two share a final hug as Maria announces the sponsors.
