	SCENE 1 cont'd	Big Bird has accompanied Maria on her visit to the maternity clinic, which is specifically for women who are pregnant. As revealed from their bus trip, Big Bird is full of questions about having babies. Maria explains that she (and the doctors there) will answer any questions he has; knowing how curious he is, she states that no question would surprise her.
	SCENE 1 cont'd	As Dr. Kapi takes Maria's blood pressure, she asks her a series of questions about her appetite.
	SCENE 1 cont'd	Dr. Kapi weighs Maria on the scale, and then introduces them to a special microphone that will allow the baby's heart beat to be heard. Maria becomes surprised and emotional when she hears the baby's heartbeat for the first time.
	SCENE 1 cont'd	Big Bird finally gets a chance to ask the question he's always wanted to ask: "Do I look sillier if I twist my head all the way around, or if I put my head under my wing?"

They all have different interpretations on what the heartbeat sounds like to them - Luis thinks it sounds like tiny horses, Elmo thinks it sounds like motorboats, and Gordon compares it to a drumroll. Maria taps on Linda's hand to show how it sounds, and Oscar interprets the sound as being akin to the engine of a tiny garbage truck.
