	Insert	Mr. Snuffleupagus is competing in the Great Snuffleupagus Derby, named such because the winner gets a derby hat. He wears a sheet with the number 9, indicating his spot in the race. He asks Big Bird to watch his bucket of orange juice so he can have a refreshing drink as he passes by mid-race. The derby begins and Snuffy takes off. Big Bird sees other Snuffleupaguses pass by, thinking they're Snuffy, until he sees they're not wearing his number. Big Bird eventually drifts off to sleep, just before Snuffy arrives and slurps down the juice. Big Bird stirs and thinks someone else has drank it all, when Snuffy returns, wearing his victory derby and sets things straight. The two both take a nap together. (First: Episode 1130)

	SCENE 1	Gordon, Susan, Gina and Uncle Wally convene outside Oscar's trash can to surprise him on his birthday. Susan has baked his favorite cake (mud chiffon upside down), Gina has a present (a 1918 tomato can for his collection) and Uncle Wally has a broken record (of "Telephone Rock"). Oscar comes from his can and fumes over their gesture - he's given him exactly what he wanted, which is no way to treat a Grouch. He yells that he hates birthdays, but complies with blowing out the candle; he wishes everyone would leave him alone. Everyone snaps back, promising never to try this type of stunt again, then leaving. "I didn't know they cared," Oscar notes.

	SCENE 2	Telly happens over to the Fix-It Shop, where Luis is painting a sign. Telly frets over what the sign could be a warning for, until Luis finishes the sign, reading WET PAINT. He points to a door he just painted (leaning against the wall). Telly notices the paint on the sign is wet as well and makes his own WET PAINT sign for it...then a sign for that sign, then another, and another, etc.
	Animation	Draw a circle around the bus. Cross out the telephone. (First: Episode 2093)
	Muppets	The Count has prepared himself a picnic not far from his castle. As he counts the ants who come to take away his food, he eventually has nothing left. Which is just as well, since it has started to rain. (EKA: Episode 2234)

	SCENE 3	Telly finds a macaw in the arbor, who has just laid her egg. She needs to gather more twigs and asks Telly to sit on the egg until she returns. She assures him all he needs to do is sit and there's nothing to worry about...except the possibility of breaking the egg.
	Animation	Three lines attempt to individually reach the top of the TV screen, but fail. They succeed after they combine all of their lengths. (First: Episode 0288)

	Muppets	Sesame Street News Flash Kermit witnesses how Santa Claus comes down the chimney, but not before a chimney sweep enters the chimney first. When Santa finally comes down, he grabs the chimney sweep and Kermit, sits them firmly on his lap and asks them what they want for Christmas.

	SCENE 4	Telly sits on the egg, wondering when the mother will return. Gordon and the kids wonder in voiceover what will happen next. Suddenly, the egg begins moving and the baby bird from within starts to peck.
	Film	A wall painter on a high-rise spells and paints the word "WET PAINT" in red, but accidentally puts his hand on one of the painted letters and looks at his hand, all painted red, and shouts, "WET PAINT!" (First: Episode 1036)
	Muppets	Waiter Grover: Mr. Johnson orders soup and a sandwich, and says that he wants the sandwich before the soup. When Grover comes with the sandwich, Mr. Johnson has changed his mind and wants the soup first. When Grover comes with the soup, Mr. Johnson has decided that he wants the sandwich first. Grover ends up giving Mr. Johnson both the soup and sandwich, so he can decide what to eat first. Mr. Johnson tells Grover that he has decided to get a cup of coffee, then the soup and the sandwich. 	SCENE 5	The egg continues to crack and Telly worries he's broken it. He notices a beak protruding from the shell and yells at the animal inside for infiltrating the egg. The egg fully hatches and the baby macaw cheeps. Telly worries what he'll do and proposes he put the egg back together.
