SCENE 2 Snuffy wanders into Big Bird's nest area and learns about the party. He too wants to bring a gift, but because they don't know anything about the baby, they have a hard time thinking of the right present. Snuffy proposes a year's supply of cabbages and spaghetti (which is what his mom and dad received before Alice was born), while Big Bird suggests a year's supply of birdseed. They conclude more thinking is in order.
