SCENE 1 Monster on the Spot reporter Telly Monster is on the scene to showcase some baby pictures. Maria excitedly rushes into the shot and shows off the many photos they have of young Gabriella. Telly points out that he's actually been sent to cover photos of a baby Honker. Maria and the mother Honker start admiring each other's photos as Telly concludes his report.

As Gordon tends to a phone call, Shelly sings about his shyness ("Just for Me"). He doesn't notice Gordon and the kids listening in and they applaud his song. Gordon points out that he left the tape recorder on, so even Susan will hear it.

SCENE 4 Gordon can't believe his ears when he hears beautiful violin music coming from Oscar's trash can. Oscar is receiving violin lessons from the world's best Grouch violin player, Itzyuck Perlmud. Gordon sets up the recorder to capture their playing, only now they play the tune horribly wrong. Itzyuck notes, "One must learn to play the right notes, before one can play the wrong ones."
Cartoon Ralph asks Marvin what would happen if he didn't have a mouth, a nose and ears.

She takes it over to the Fix-It Shop, just as it gets to the good part for Oscar - the baby crying. Oscar decides to make the crying noises himself, and Gordon announces the sponsors.
