SCENE 1 | Telly wakes up in his bed, welcomes the viewer, and tells them about the nice dream he just had. He finds a cookie tin box on Sesame Street and thinks about what to do with it. He considers using it as a drum, and lightly taps on it. To Telly's surprise, the taps echo from inside the tin. Telly opens the lid, and with a puff of smoke appears The Genie of the Cookie Tin. He is so grateful to Telly for releasing him that he grants him four wishes! Each wish will be summoned by four knocks on the tin. Back in reality, Telly tries to remember more of his dream. | |

SCENE 2 | Telly recounts the next part of his dream, where he goes to the Fix-It Shop to tell Luis about the genie. Luis has trouble finding a screwdriver, and wishes aloud that he had twenty screwdrivers. Telly decides to use one of his wishes for Luis and makes twenty screwdrivers magically appear on the counter. Luis is amazed, and Telly has him count each of them to make sure there are twenty exactly. The genie briefly pops in to a bewildered Luis. Telly ponders again what happens next. | |

Bob tries to play Chopin's "Minute Waltz" on the piano, and expresses how difficult it is, wishing that he could play it just like a concert pianist. Telly uses his second wish to help him do so. Bob is poofed into a tuxedo and is able to play the Chopin piece flawlessly, much to his own shock. The genie reappears, surprising Bob even more. | |

SCENE 4 | In the next part of Telly's dream, Gina is working at Hooper's Store and confesses that she's trying to find someone to go to the dance with her. Telly wishes for her favorite of all to take her to the dance. Rock and roll music starts to play, signaling the arrival of Big Jeffy and Little Chrissy, who musically plead for Gina to invite them. Gina is torn between her choices, so the genie pops in to offer a solution: cooperate, and go to the dance with both of them. She accepts, and ecstatically thanks the genie and Telly. | |

Out of frustration, Telly inadvertently wishes for Oscar to be nice to him for just one day. Oscar suddenly becomes cheery and invites Telly for a game of checkers. The genie briefly appears to explain to Telly that he just used his last wish. Telly decides to make the most of it and gives Oscar a hug. And so ends Telly's dream. Back in the present, he then decides to go tell Oscar about it. | |
