SCENE 1 Big Bird greets the viewer when he's interrupted by a special report from "Sesame Street News." Anchor animal Buster the Horse announces that tomorrow, Miles, Caroline, and Travis will be starting kindergarten, and today's broadcast will take an in-depth look at how everyone will get them get ready. Big Bird strolls into frame, looking forward to the report (unaware he's blocking the camera's view of Buster).

Big Bird adds that the map is courtesy of Snuffy, whose Snufflegarden building is right across the street (as indicated by the large building on the map).
