SCENE 1 Gina encounters Little Bird sitting on a table in the yard, trying to communicate with a bird on the nearby fence. She chirps too quietly to be heard at such a distance. Gina chirps herself loud enough to grab the other bird's attention. Together, they all play a loud chirping game.

Cookie Monster overhears this and asks if he can have all of the cookies after they are counted, and Ernie agrees. But after opening the box, Ernie finds that there are 0 cookies in it. Ernie has another box, but it also has 0 in it. Ernie then remembers that he put all of the cookies into a cookie jar, and starts to count, but Cookie Monster impatiently eats all of the cookies before Ernie can finish counting.

SCENE 4 Big Bird is the usher at Birdland tonight and shows Susan, Gordon and Fabina to their table. However, the table he's chosen has only two chairs, so Gordon has no place to sit down. Big Bird tries re-arranging the chairs, not realizing this won't create an extra spot for him. Gordon proposes they simply take a chair from an empty table and move it to this one. Big Bird is pleased the plan works out, then Gina arrives and asks to sit with them.

So he does and then finds that he can even sing it the quietest. Bert then wonders what's going on and can't seem to go to sleep. Ernie then asks Bert if he's singing it to the extent that he can't hear him then why is he not asleep yet?
