	SCENE 1	Gina welcomes the viewer while setting up Hooper's Store for the day, and learns that the Count has taken up a new job as the mailman for Sesame Street. He is initially unaware that there is more to do than count the mail he delivers, as Gina explains how people can't just wait while he counts everything. After seeing how happy Gina becomes when she gets an important letter, he intends to do the job correctly so he can count more happy recipients.

	SCENE 2	Telly comes into Hooper's Store for some orange juice, and notices Gina is writing a response to her pen pal who lives all the way in Australia. She shows where it is on a globe, and explains how letters are sent to Australia from Sesame Street and back again. Telly wishes he could have a pen pal, but doesn't know anybody in Australia or any other country. Gina recommends he start locally and Telly rushes off, intending to make Oscar his pen pal.

	SCENE 3	Telly's mom has helped Telly write his letter, asking Oscar to be pen pals. Oscar wants nothing to do with Telly and orders him to beat it. After some back-and-forth, Oscar agrees to accept the letter if Telly goes away (though he has no intention of reading it once he's given the letter). Telly realizes he has been tricked and angrily runs off, while Oscar muses how he never thought cooperating could be so much fun.

Snuffy then realizes everything he intends to write about Big Bird he's already experienced first-hand. Big Bird assures him it doesn't matter, as he'll read any letter his best pal sends to him.

	Muppets	Bob reads the story of a king and his three sons, to whom he bestows three, special gifts - a basket that is never emptied of food, a bird that knows all in the land and a horse that can travel anywhere. They each take a separate gift and travel the land, trying to help people.
