SCENE 1 Gina is writing a story for school. Ruby, in her admiration of Gina, does the same. He story is a fairy tale entitled "Ginarella."
In the story, Ginarella works at a candy store under the supervision of her unkind mother (Grundgetta) and two sisters (Maria and Susan). Ginarella wants to go the big dance part tonight, where her favorite band, Prince and the Charmings, will be playing. But, she has many chores to do and her family refuses to cooperate with her. She sighs over her framed photo of Prince, hoping she can finish her chores in time.
