Malcolm tells them to go about their daily business as he checks his list to make sure he has everything he needs. Elmo points out one movie-related item he's forgotten: popcorn.

SCENE 6 Elmo passes out popcorn as Malcolm prepares to debut his film, "A Street Called Sesame." Malcolm narrates that the street seemed ordinary at first, but then shows off all the extraordinary things he's seen today that make Sesame Street special. The crowd goes wild for his masterpiece as Malcolm (in voiceover) announces the sponsors.


  • Though he portrays himself as a director in this episode, Malcolm-Jamal Warner would later direct an actual episode of Sesame Street in 1995, namely Episode 3375.
