Right after she leaves, Telly comes in to make sure Gordon's okay. He understands that Gordon needs rest, peace, and quiet, so he makes sure everything stays that way. He hears such sounds as a barking dog, a honking car, and an airplane, and yells at them to be quiet. Soon, they hear the birds sing, which Gordon doesn't mind ... until he hears Big Bird singing loudly!
