SCENE 1 Gordon has a really bad headache, so Susan puts his slippers by the bed, unplugs the phone, and goes to put Miles in daycare so Gordon can relax. Right after she leaves, Telly comes in to make sure Gordon's okay. He understands that Gordon needs rest, peace, and quiet, so he makes sure everything stays that way. He hears such sounds as a barking dog, a honking car, and an airplane, and yells at them to be quiet. Soon, they hear the birds sing, which Gordon doesn't mind ... until he hears Big Bird singing loudly!

SCENE 4 Gordon has yet another visitor, Count von Count, who has a Transylvanian home remedy for headaches: counting backwards from ten to zero, and listening to soft thunder. Gordon finds this surprisingly effective, when he counts slow and closes his eyes as The Count hums.
Animation Lillian recalls the time she joined her parents and baby sister on a hike up the hill. Lillian hiked to the top herself, and is proud of the fact.

SCENE 5 After several minutes of counting backwards from ten to zero, Gordon's headache is finally gone! Oscar the Grouch arrives, hoping to see Gordon suffer through his headache, but becomes upset when he learns he's too late.

Susan and Miles come home and greet Gordon, and all the happiness in the room irritates Oscar, so the Count introduces him to his home remedy. Both of them announce the sponsors.
