SCENE 1 Biff, Sully, and Stella bring dozens of flowers to Mr. Handford. Big Bird greets the viewer and reminds them of what happened yesterday when Hooper's Store came apart. Afterwards, the construction crew were in tears when initially prohibited from helping Maria and Luis fix the store, but Mr. Handford allows them, provided they are under careful scrutiny. Big Bird explains that because they were so happy, that's why they're giving him so many flowers (and boxes of candy).
