Picture Segment Description

SCENE 1 Biff, Sully and Stella bring dozens of flowers (plus boxes of candy) to Mr. Handford. Big Bird greets the viewer and reminds them of what happened yesterday when Hooper's Store came apart. Afterwards, the construction crew were initially prohibited from helping Maria and Luis fix the store, but Mr. Handford allows them, provided they are under careful scrutiny. Big Bird explains that because they were so happy, that's why they're giving him flowers (and candy).
Cartoon When a bird pops a balloon, the balls represent Sad and Happy.

SCENE 2 Maria, Luis and Mr. Handford go over the plan of building a new Hooper's Store - first, clean all the debris, then design how the new store will look and finally, start working. Biff and the crew barge through with a plank of wood, ready to start building. They're informed of the plan and Biff points out one missing element - coffee breaks.

SCENE 3 Mr. Handford reviews the design plans for the store and loves them, not wanting to change a thing. Then, young Melissa rolls in and suggests a ramp for her wheelchair. A small bird (Richard Hunt) appears as well with plans for a fly-thru birdfeeder.
SCENE 3 cont'd Oscar also has a suggestion - leave the store just as it is. Mr. Handford naturally declines his proposal, but does offer to take a photo of the mess and give it to Oscar, while also recommending Biff and Sully nail it to his wall.

SCENE 4 With all the rubble moved out onto the sidewalk, Mr. Handford goes to phone the hauling truck. Oscar is disappointed that all he has left of the mess is a mere photo, then notices the pile of debris. He decides to take a piece to remind him of the mess, then takes another, and another...
SCENE 4 cont'd Mr. Handford gets put on hold by Perelli's Hauling Service and decides to call back later. He goes back onto the sidewalk and sees Oscar has absconded with all the debris for his own personal collection. Oscar is then worried about his reputation when he realizes he just helped Mr. Handford, who assures Oscar it was just by accident.
Cartoon A magician performs a trick that makes birds appear, and fish can be glimpsed between them.
