SCENE 1 | In the early hours of the morning, Maria, Luis, and the hardhats get ready to continue repairs on Hooper's Store. Oscar, dressed as a reporter, tells them to wait until he gets upstairs. From inside Bob's bedroom, Oscar delivers a "Grouch noise" report. He notes that Bob is fast asleep for the time being... until the construction downstairs causes him to jolt from bed. He demands that Oscar do his report downstairs since that's where all the noise is coming from; Oscar counters that his apartment's where all the complaining is, so he sticks around. |
