Picture Segment Description

SCENE 1 Elmo and Zelda have been given some empty oatmeal boxes to play with from Gina. Luis helps them use the boxes as a secret telephone device. They communicate a secret message to each other - the alphabet.
Cartoon A detective follows a path on the street which consists of a straight line, followed by dots. He finds out that the truck that paints the dividing road lines happens to sputter every few feet, which is where the dots come from.

SCENE 2 Gina helps Elmo and Zelda turn the oatmeal boxes into hats; they begin to imagine themselves as royal guards to the Queen (Gina).

SCENE 2 cont'd In their imagination, the royal letter carrier and the royal dry cleaner arrive, but they don't know the password (“oatmeal”), so they take the Queen's goods on her behalf. Finally, the Queen turns up behind them to reward them with oatmeal cookies for their great job.
Cartoon A map of Brazil morphs into the shape of animals that are found there.

Muppets Ernie & BertErnie brings an umbrella, a flashlight, and Bert's bowling ball to the bathtub, just in case the electricity goes out, the roof leaks, and somebody shows up asking to borrow a bowling ball. Bert thinks that Ernie is being ridiculous -- but everything happens, just as Ernie predicted.

Film A little girl narrates a film about how cans can be recycled. She washes them and collects them in a wagon, which she takes to the recycling center. There it is sorted and separated with a magnet. After its loaded onto trucks, it is taken to a factory to be melted and shaped into new cans like the ones seen in her fridge at home.
