COLD OPEN A group of girls do a chant about the letter K.
SCENE 1 Telly and the kids flash signs with the letter "K" on them and march around chanting the letter. Telly wants Oscar to provide them with a K word in honor of the letter of the day, but he naturally refuses.
Animation An owl is formed out of seeds.

SCENE 2 Telly and the kids disguise themselves as Grouches, hoping to dupe Oscar into showing them a K word. Oscar sees through this immediately and rejects Telly's suggestions of showing a kangaroo or koala, since Grouches don't like cute animals such as those. He instead provides Telly with something Grouches do like - fish (even though it doesn't begin with K). He starts tossing out handfuls from his trash can, which the others try to frantically toss back.
Cartoon Gloria Globe is about to pull a rabbit out of her hat, but pulls out a kangaroo instead, which belongs in Australia.

Oscar gives the Count 14 smelly fish from his collection, which he, Telly, and the kids count. The Count then goes to take a bath to wash the smell out, hoping 14 bars of soap will be enough.
