Picture Segment Description
SCENE 1 At Gordon and Susan's apartment, Preston Rabbit is excited because Susan's mother and father (Dorothy and Lee) are coming over for a visit. He assumes that being grandparents, they're going to give presents to Miles; as a present-giver himself, watching others give presents is the next best thing. Susan doesn’t think they might bring a present, and finds it rude when Preston asks when the couple arrives. Dorothy replies that they did happen to bring something, which makes Preston so happy he starts cheering, "Presents! Presents! Presents!..."

Preston notices that it looks identical to the one that Miles got for his birthday, which turns out to be true when Miles brings his drum out. Preston thinks that Susan's parents will have to bring the drum back to Africa, but Lee replies that Miles has two drums that can now talk to each other, and he has a "conversation" with his grandson through the drum beats.
