SCENE 1 As harsh winds blow, Telly, Big Bird, and Elmo observe the adults putting tape on their windows. They split up and ask the adults why they're doing so - and learn that a hurricane is coming. They then ask the adults what a hurricane is.

Ernie only manages to knock down some, then most of the bottles, but not all of them, so he doesn't win the prize. Herry, on the other hand, can knock the bottles down not with a baseball, but with his loud voice.

SCENE 7 Now with no room in the bed, the couple move out and head for the living room, where Oscar is looking out the window. He notes the hurricane has finished and is admiring the mess it left. He is disgusted to find that they’re going to clean it up in the morning. Luis then announces the sponsors.


  • A hurricane would later visit the street in Episode 3976. Scene 2 of this episode would be directly remade for that show.
