COLD OPEN Oscar teases a Grouch game he's going to play with Telly, right after the opening theme...
SCENE 1 Telly excitedly rushes over to Oscar's can, with a football helmet, tennis racket, beach ball and butterfly net. He rushes out and back to get a tuba Oscar now says he'll need. The "game" turns out to be a trick on Telly, making him bring all the items for nothing. Oscar expects Telly to feel silly, but instead, Telly feels angry (but has trouble fully expressing it). He runs about in a fit.
Cartoon All the instruments in Sousaville love Mr. Tuba's music, but when he plays with them, he doesn't play the same music they're playing.
