SCENE 1 Gordon confirms with everyone on the plans for a garden in the cleaned up vacant lot. Snuffy, Elmo, and Prairie Dawn volunteer to help plant the vegetable area, marked with a "V" sign. Uncle Wally, Bob, Linda, and Miles will plant flowers in the "F" sections. Maria, Luis, and Gina are assigned to planting trees where a "T" is labeled, when Luis asks about a nearby sign with a "G" on it. Oscar pops up and notes the "G" stands for Grouches, as he and some other Grouches (David Rudman and Jim Martin) start complaining about the process.
