SCENE 1 Maria reads the kids "Hickory Dickory Dock: The Continuing Story." After the well-known verse, the story goes on, where the mouse complains that the clock's hands keep poking him in the rear every time it strikes one. The issue is solved when he replaces it with a digital clock.
