He then wonders what Big Bird's up to at the moment and Gordon tells him he's probably sleeping like most people. Snuffy agrees and heads back to his cave to catch some Zs too. This is followed by the Montana variation on the "Sesame Street Theme." | |
SCENE 1 | It is morning on the Crow ranch and Frances wakes up Big Bird and The Count. Big Bird is psyched for his first full day in Crow Country and wonders what they'll do first. Frances says they are having breakfast and after will give him a tour of the ranch. | |
SCENE 1 cont'd | The Count, however, starts his day by counting something. He leaves the barn and meets up with Billy-Rose, who is brushing her horse. The Count is inspired and begins counting the hairs on the horse. | |

SCENE 3 | Maria and Luis are going to ride horses, though Maria has difficulty mounting hers. The Count wishes to count them getting onto the horses, but when Maria can't, he begins counting her attempts. When it finally appears as though she's on her horse, it moves away, reveal she's instead mounted herself on the fence ("Tomorrow, I'll try it on a horse.") Billy Rose offers her a ride and Maria clings to her for safety while the ride off. The Count has a laugh counting two people who can ride and one who tired, but falls off of the fence. | |

Maria hears Oscar complaining and invites him to see the country. Oscar refuses to come out from his can until he's back on Sesame Street. Billy-Rose has one activity he can participate in without leaving his can - barrel racing. She lassos his can and drags him to the field (which he greatly enjoys) where she and other Crows ride their horses around his can and other barrels. Afterwards, Billy-Rose asks Maria if she'd like to give it a try, to which Maria coolly replies "in your dreams!" | |

SCENE 5 | Big Bird notices Francis practicing his "hot dance" for the ceremony and wonders about the name. Luis explains what Phil told him: long ago, the Crows moved from place to place until they finally found somewhere to settle. They celebrated with a hot meal and dance. Maria and Phil add that Francis' outfit represents how important animals are to the tribe as well. The Count is eager to count the beadwork and Big Bird is amazed everyone will be joining in the dance after the ceremony. | |
