COLD OPEN | Snuffy points to Montana on his map for the Birdketeers, stating that's where Big Bird is at the moment. He hears a voice saying he's wrong, because Big Bird's back on Sesame Street! They all gather for a big hug.
SCENE 1 | Gina notices Maria and Luis chatting with Gordon about their trip, and they show off the gifts they received during Francis' ceremony. They hear some loud crashing and a donkey braying. The culprit, they obviously conclude, is Oscar. He explains that he bought a mule named Iago from a rancher in Montana and he's having a great time with his new pet inside his trash can. The adults want him out of the can because of the racket he's making, but Oscar doesn't think it will happen (Iago's as stubborn as a mule).
SCENE 1 cont'd | Maria tries calling Iago out, as they do with Barkley, but he continues making a mess. Oscar points out the rope that is wrapped to Iago's neck and suggests they pull on that. The adults get into a tug-of-war with the mule with no success. Luis leaves them with the rope, getting some inspiration.
