SCENE 3 | Oscar points out the owners of the store - Mr. and Mrs. Slop (it's a mom-and-pop Slop and Shop). While he and Miles go get some pickle milk, Oscar asks Gordon to get some flyin' fish heads. Gordon approaches the counter, where Mr. Slop tells him to take a number; Gordon receives a 19. Despite nobody else being present, Mr. Slop calls out every number until he reaches 19. When he finally does call Gordon's number, other Grouches appear with the same ticket, which allows them to argue over whose turn it is. Mr. Slop proceeds to toss the fish heads at everyone, clarifying why they're called flying fish heads. | |

Gordon reluctantly takes a box from the bottom and the stack remains standing. Mr. Slop knocks them over himself, then starts yelling at Gordon over the mess he's caused and demand he help restack the boxes. | |

Gordon gives them the two bags and they pelt him with crumpled paper (his change). They leave the groceries behind, since they deliver. | |
