SCENE 1 Telly, Monster on the Spot, reports that today is a very cold day on Sesame Street. He's joined by the word COLD, who is freezing. Telly provides the word parts of his outfit piece by piece until the COLD is warm, but Telly is left freezing.

SCENE 2 Bob struggles to get Barkley to move, wanting to finish the walk he promised Linda he'd take him on so he can get out of the cold. Gordon arrives and tries to help push, but Barkley stays put. Gordon suggests he use the sign for "walk". Bob gives it a go and Barkley perks up and runs him all over the arbor (in fast-motion). After the walk is through, Gordon invites Bob up for some hot chocolate, but Barkley won't budge again; Gordon suggests he sign "hot chocolate" now.
Cartoon Geronimo 10-0: Instead of a parachute, she has a helicopter propeller.

She immediately returns, shivering and chattering, and decides to play inside for awhile.

Flo explains the cold is making her hibernate and finds Gina's bed the most suitable place to do so, even preparing some books to read and paper to write stories on when she periodically wakes up. Gina tries to get her out, but can't wake her up. "It looks like it's going to be a very long winter," she sighs.

SCENE 6 Flo is fast asleep and Gina vows first thing in the morning, she's getting rid of her. Gina opens the window for some fresh air, which immediately wakes Flo, who doesn't like the cold air. Since they can't reach a compromise, Flo decides to sleep somewhere else... Bob's apartment. Gina happily hops into bed as Snuffy announces the sponsors. The nighttime credit crawl from Episode 2255 follows with the standard harmonica theme.
