SCENE 1 Telly and Lillian welcome the viewer, but before they can talk about what begins with the letter of the day (L), Chicago devours the lettuce and lima beans they have on the table. "That lion makes me kind of glad that I'm not a vegetable," Telly meekly says.

SCENE 2 Telly and Lillian are now prepared to give an L demonstration when a group of Grouches, including Oscar and Grundgetta, shows up holding signs and chanting, "Hey hey! Ho ho! The letter L has got to go!" Oscar explains that Grouches hate the letter L because it starts all kinds of yucky words such as "lollipop," "like," and "love." Telly and Lillian thank Oscar for doing them a favor by listing several L words. Lillian then points their attention to the upcoming L movie, which makes all the Grouches begin to scream...

In Barkley's dream sequence, he sleeps in a field, when he hears some kids calling for him to play frisbee with them. One of the kids throws it high up into the air, and in slow motion, Barkley chases it and catches it in mid-air. He feels so happy as the kids play with him in the grass.
This sequence was lifted from Episode 1503.

Luis and Lillian wake Barkley up, and he feels disappointed that his good dream is over.

Muppets Grover is the newest employee of a fast food franchise which serves such delicacies as O'Fish, O'Salad, O'Rye Bread, and O'Milk. However, this is a different kind of "fast food" restaurant: the food zips by the customer on trays across the counter, and falls to the floor if it's not caught in time. Mr. Johnson is not ready for this, so he asks if there's any "slow food." There is, but it's served by a turtle who takes longer than Mr. Johnson wants to wait.
