Picture Segment Description

SCENE 1 Big Bird tells the viewer today's sponsors and presents one of them, the letter R (Martin P. Robinson), who says a few R words: "Rrrrrrug! Rrrrrrag! Rrrrrrhinoplasty!" The R begins to rant about how important it is when an angry letter O (David Rudman) bursts onto the scene and wants his chance to talk. The two letters begin arguing.

The two letters then form the word "OR," where they find they have a lot in common. (Big Bird: "You know, for a six-year-old, I think I handled that extremely well!")

SCENE 3 At Hooper's Store, Luis requests an apple from Mr. Handford just as their supply is gone. When Mr. Handford informs him that none of the apples are left, Luis rushes off, claiming to have left his wallet in the dishwasher.
SCENE 3 cont'd A heroic theme plays as Señor Zero appears, swinging into the store on a rope (and looking suspiciously like Luis). Telly is in awe of him as he points out how there are now zero apples in the bowl and slaps a zero on it. With more zeros to find, Señor Zero swings out.
SCENE 3 cont'd Telly wishes to become a hero just like Señor Zero when he grows up but decides to not wait and do it now. Luis re-enters and denies possessing a cape and thin mustache. Telly asks to borrow a pot and claims he's now going to get a camera and an eggplant as he leaves. "If anybody knows what's going on here, would you kindly fill me in?" a confused Mr. Handford asks the viewer.

SCENE 4 Over at the Fix-It Shop, Telly sets up his master plan: he intends to remove his eggplant from the pot, thus leaving zero of them in it. This will then bring the arrival of Señor Zero and Telly will get a picture of him. Luis offers to take the picture so the two can both be in it. However, when Telly removes the eggplant, Luis suddenly has to run off to feed his undershirts.
SCENE 4 cont'd In an instant, Señor Zero appears! He puts a zero on the pot and finds there's also zero Luises around. Telly takes a picture of him before he dashes off once more.
SCENE 4 cont'd Luis returns immediately afterward and Telly shows him his picture. Telly adds it's what "Señor Zero Jr." will look like and whooshes off.

SCENE 5 Oscar monitors Slimey's mud bath when Telly appears, placing a tape player by his can. As Telly's tuba theme music plays, he swings by on his own rope, crashing into the trash can. Telly reveals himself to be "Señor Zero Jr." and shows how he matches the original compared to his photograph. Oscar points out one difference - he doesn't have a mustache. Oscar offers a number of suggestions on how to make one, then revealing the unfortunate catch that'd come with them.
SCENE 5 cont'd Just then, Slimey comes out from his mud bath. Inspired, Telly takes the muddy Slimey and sticks him to his face, forming his mustache! Telly swings off with another crash landing.

SCENE 6 Hooper's Store is covered with zeros, thanks to Señor Zero Jr. He swings into the store to add more zeros but finally gets fed up with pretending; there's so many problems that come with being Señor Zero Jr., namely the amount of things that there are none of. Mr. Handford tells him he can still admire Señor Zero without having to be like him, so Telly takes his costume off. When Telly comments there are zero Señor Zero Jrs., Luis suddenly has to leave to answer his ringing television...
SCENE 6 cont'd ...and Señor Zero appears once more! He puts a zero on Telly since he's given up his persona; Mr. Handford still doesn't buy any of it.
