SCENE 1 Telly gives a Monster on the Spot report on a nursery rhyme crisis: Little Miss Muffet has just got married, so her name is now Ms. Muffet-Malone, which sets her poem askew. They replaced the tuffet with a throne, which rhymes with her new name. The new poem goes:
"Ms. Muffet-Malone sat on a throne
With her husband Frank, eating curds and whey
When a spider who'd seen them
Sat right in between them
And frightened them both away!"
Song Jeff Redd sings "Between".

SCENE 2 Luis finishes fixing Gabi's xylophone, and goes out to get some ice cream. When he leaves, two Martians fade into view, and look in their book to identify the object they see before them. They try some attempts to make music with it, and realize they can strike the keys with their antennae. Luis hears "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" being played while he's outside, but by the time he gets back inside the Fix-It Shop, the Martians have disappeared.
Film Fay Ray listens to classical music on headphones. "Are you listening to me?"

SCENE 3 Snuffy takes his little sister Alice for a walk, and points her attention to some people doing their jobs, explaining to her how important they are, and what the word important means. They pass Luis at the Fix-it Shop, and Mr. Handford at Hooper's. Snuffy then decides to find something important to do, but Alice wants to play instead. Snuffy shows her how to play "Follow the Leader," but she misunderstands his directions and bumps into a small tree. The branches she wears look like antlers, so Snuffy decides to play "Santa Claus" with Alice instead.

Snuffy apologizes to him, and decides to instead play "Snuffle-hop" with Alice, which involves pretending they're rabbits. Since the Snuffleupaguses are so big, this game also knocks Mr. Handford over.

Snuffy is disappointed that he spent all day playing with Alice, and didn't get to do anything important today. Luis points out that spending time with family members is important, which makes them both feel better. They decide to go home, but end up wanting to go in opposite directions. Mr. Handford announces the sponsors, and the credits roll.
