COLD OPEN Big Bird comes out of his nest area, mentions today's sponsors, and also points out that Mother Goose is coming to visit today.
SCENE 1 At Hooper's, Big Bird tells Gina that Mother Goose will be meeting him here today. Gina guesses how she might be traveling, as they hear the sounds of a car, a bike, an airplane, and then a goose (which is how she got her name).
The goose lands with a crash, after which Mother Goose herself (played by Judith Ivey) enters the store and greets everyone. She brings in her dog, Rhymeraner, then Gina warns her that she might not want to leave her goose double-parked outside. She leaves Rhymeraner with them as she goes to park her goose in the garage.
