SCENE 1 Monty bears a number 0 on his hat and talks about it. Prairie finally understands that the number 0 is what Monty meant by "nothing." He disagrees that he was vague about his wording, and that the 0 on the top of his hat is missing. He introduces something else about nothing...

Muppets Ernie is in a counting mood, and decides to count all of the cookies in a box of them. Cookie Monster overhears this and asks if he can have all of the cookies after they are counted, and Ernie agrees. But after opening the box, Ernie finds that there are 0 cookies in it. Ernie has another box, but it also has 0 in it. Ernie then remembers that he put all of the cookies into a cookie jar, and starts to count, but Cookie Monster impatiently eats all of the cookies before Ernie can finish counting.

"From now on, I'm bringing my lunch to work in a paper sack." He finally explains to Grover that he can't eat the soup because he doesn't have a spoon.

He runs out and returns with mouse ears instead. Prairie goes home to lie down, as Gina announces the sponsors and Monty shows off his hand (for waving goodbye).
