Snuffy's mommy calls him over, and he tells Gordon to watch his tape player while he's gone. When Snuffy leaves, Gordon, out of curiosity, plays the tape and lip-synchs dramatically to it, not noticing that Snuffy, Miles, Savion, and some kids have been watching him until they applaud his performance. | |

Gordon explains to Grundgetta why it's important for Elmo to know how to read the sign before pointing out that it's time to say goodbye. Elmo now starts saying "goodbye" over and over as Gordon announces the sponsors. |
